Matern Professional Engineering
The Matern difference is a personalized approach that embraces collaboration, solutions and project success. We protect your interests throughout the project and perform our job so you can perform yours. Our ultimate goal is to make the project and team successful.
We are a self-certified small business with offices in Maitland, Fort Myers, Jacksonville and Tampa; we have been providing professional engineering design and consulting services throughout Florida since 1984. In addition, we are licensed in Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
Assisting you in determining a complete project solution rather than a temporary fix to the current challenge is our passion. This process includes vetting through concerns at hand, budgeting; ease of maintenance, cost and schedule. We then evaluate the facility and make recommendations based on what we discover and what you have expressed your needs to be.
Cost Saving Solutions
We are proud that our designs consistently result in a reduction of capital outlay, either through first cost or operational costs. Some of the cost-saving solutions we have implemented include Thermal Energy Storage, solar and renewable energy, geothermal systems and lighting upgrades. We have assisted with coordinating energy rebate programs available. These solutions and services have resulted in substantial savings for our clients.
Our experience in leading projects gives the ability to understand scheduling, budgeting, safety, minimal facility interruption and other aspects required to successfully construct a project. We understand and acknowledge that in today’s economy projects may have to be small in size, phased, under time and budget constraints or performed on occupied campuses/facilities. We have the experience and staff to effectively handle any of these situations.
These qualifications coupled with real world experience enable us to provide consultation and design services for most facilities.
Matern Management / Commitment
A commitment to client satisfaction has permitted our firm to earn the recognition as a reputable Engineering firm throughout Florida and across the southern states.
