Project Description:
Matern's Education Department provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and systems/low voltage engineering design services for the remodel and renovation of Pine Crest Elementary Magnet School.
At approximately 110,000 square feet and a construction budget of $24 million, this "School of Innovation" features a new two-story 53 classroom facility that includes science labs, an administration area, cafeteria/dining space, media center, and other support spaces. It also comprised of a new drop-off area & parking, covered walkways, and playgrounds.
